Период, когда в пчелиной семье нет расплода, всегда проблематичен для клещей Варроа. В это время они быстро теряют силу, свою способность к размножению и гибнут. Дикие колонии пчел эффективно используют это как естественный способ защиты в период роения, когда расплода нет. Степень заражения роя низка, расплода нет, соответственно, клещи стареют или погибают вместе со старыми зараженными пчелами. Конечно, можно поместить матку в клеточку на сезон, а затем провести химическую обработку. Но гарантии, что матка вновь будет принята в семью, в этом случае практически нет. С другой стороны, открытый доступный расплод действует на клещей как магнит. Зная это, для уничтожения клещей можно проводить ряд зоотехнических мероприятий, например, использование рамок-ловушек. При этом в гнездо с расплодом ставят рамку с трутневой вощиной, которую пчелы так же быстро отстраивают. После полного запечатывания рамку вынимают, охлаждают, распечатывают с помощью пасечного ножа и энергично вытряхивают расплод вместе с клещами. Использованные соты можно вымыть проточной водой с использованием уксуса или перекиси водорода, а потом использовать еще несколько раз. Однако при таком способе есть один минус: приходится удалять и уничтожать вес расплод в рамке, даже если клещом заражены всего несколько сот. Недавно разработанный набор VarroaStop от компании Jenter объединил в себе оба эти метода без необходимости применения химического контроля или удаления целых расплодных рамок. Принцип работы В наборе Jenter VarroaStop радиус действия матки ограничен одной кассетой на 250 ячеек. При этом она совершенно спокойно себя чувствует со своим расплодом в этой клеточке. Другие пчелы имеют свободный доступ и к матке, и к расплоду, ухаживая за ними должным образом. Клещи Варроа, в свою очередь, также будут использовать этот расплод для запланированного размножения. После полного запечатывания сота задняя стенка Jenter VarroaStop удаляется и заменяется новой. Матка по-прежнему остается в клеточке для создания следующего расплода. Предыдущий расплод, зараженный клещом, уничтожается. После удаления расплода соты можно вымыть и использовать повторно. Как только все личинки вылупятся и последние клещи окажутся в ловушке в закрытой области Jenter VarroaStop, матка освобождается через съемную крышку на передней части или заменяется молодой маткой. Очищенные соты можно оставить для дальнейшего использования.ВыводJenter VarroaSTOP легко устанавливается в рамку. Толщина сота при этом почти не меняется. Нет необходимости удалять рамку целиком. Матка засевает соты поэтапно, таким образом, сохраняя свою привлекательность в семье. Клещи Варроа почти полностью уничтожаются (и взрослые особи, и яйца) путем многочисленного удаления расплода. Химическая обработка в таком случае не потребуется.
